This fear often stems from anxiety about making mistakes, nervousness about ideas, or uncertainty about what we intend to do.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To help you overcome your fears and master the art of conveying emotions and expressing yourself, on May 6th, 2015, APC Vietnam-America College is honored to present a workshop by Prof. Dr. Vuong Thanh Son* on the topic.\u00a0<strong>\u201c&quot;Tips for preparing an effective presentation&quot;\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Professor Dr. Vuong Thanh Son graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. UBC is the second largest university in Canada; it has a top-quality faculty in the fields of medicine, life sciences, law, computer science, engineering, and management. UBC&#039;s Computer Science program is ranked in the top 20 in North America.<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.broward.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_9618.gif\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"IMG_9618\" src=\"http:\/\/www.broward.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_9618.gif\" width=\"644\" height=\"483\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the presentation, Professor Thanh Son presented and discussed the unique BOPPS method for preparing presentations (B-Bridge, O-Objective, P-Pretest, P-Port-test, S-Summary). Students need to identify their strengths and weaknesses; determine short-term and long-term goals. Goals must be clear and related to personal passions and interests.
