On May 14, 2018, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for recruitment and training in the Food & Beverage industry between Viet My College and VFS F&B Autogrill was successfully signed. This collaboration opens up many new opportunities for cooperation between the college and businesses in training human resources to meet business needs and provides more job opportunities for students currently studying at the college.
The program was attended by the Human Resources Board of VFS F&B Autogrill, the Corporate Relations department, and lecturers from various faculties and departments of Viet My College. In addition, more than 50 students majoring in Restaurant and Hotel Management from the 2015 and 2016 cohorts were also present at the event. This cooperation signing ceremony was a significant event. This event marks a significant milestone in the school's training program and expansion of partnerships with businesses in the industry. It also aligns with the school's training criteria and guiding principles. ‘'Learn by doing, practice by doing'’, This creates opportunities for students to intern, work, and develop themselves at businesses right from their first or second year.
In recent years, the Food and Beverage industry in Vietnam has been experiencing a significant shortage of personnel, with the continuous opening of numerous restaurant chains offering Japanese, Korean, and European cuisine to cater to the diverse culinary needs of the young market. Many major players in the industry have bold strategies to expand into the Southeast Asian market and plan to "Go Global" in the future. Therefore, job opportunities are abundant for all students with a passion for the profession, trained in the F&B industry, and with long-term career aspirations. Highly appreciating the training program, learning environment, and the dynamism and eagerness to learn of the students at Viet My College, Autogrill has brought the Autogrill Spark program to students, offering information and career opportunities through a networking and discussion session with the company.

Sharing more about career paths for personnel in the Food & Beverage industry, Mr. Tran Van Sang – Human Resources Director of VFS F&B Autogrill Company, said: ‘"The MOU signing ceremony with the school this morning was a great opportunity for our company. The HR department highly appreciates the demeanor and knowledge of the students, as well as the dynamic environment at Viet My College. Furthermore, through the sharing and conversation with Principal Minh Doan, we realized that the school's training objectives align with the practical needs of Autogrill in particular and other businesses in general. We sincerely hope that the collaboration between the school and our company will not only continue today but also next year and beyond.". Businesses always need employees, especially those with F&B knowledge, training, and a passion for the profession. These are the qualities I observed in the students from Viet My College during today's sharing and conversation session.’

From the beginning of 2018 to the present, the school has successfully signed numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for recruitment and training with businesses such as Daystar Study Abroad Consulting Company, Golden Gate Trading Joint Stock Company, Autogrill VFS F&B Company, etc., opening up many opportunities not only for the present but also for the long term for the school's students. This provides a solid foundation for students to focus on their studies, strive to improve their knowledge, and develop life and work skills to seize the "golden opportunities" that the school is constantly seeking and connecting with domestic and international businesses.
