In 2019, the Management, Business, and Real Estate sector had the highest average monthly salary among all surveyed professions.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the 2019 labor market report and 2020 workforce demand forecast by the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Human Resource Demand Forecasting and Labor Market Information, the following eight professions have high average monthly incomes:<\/span><\/p>\n

Management (10.82 million VND), Property Business - Real Estate (10.48 million VND), Architecture - Construction Engineering (9.66 million VND), Translation and Interpretation (9.53 million VND), Postal - Telecommunications - Information Technology Services (9.23 million VND), Finance - Credit - Banking (8.67 million VND), Editor (8.55 million VND), Information Technology (8.41 million VND).<\/span><\/p>\n

According to survey results, the salary range most frequently advertised by employers is 5-10 million VND, accounting for 63,781 positions; 10-15 million VND accounts for 15,971 positions; and over 15 million VND accounts for 5,381 positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the most common desired salary range for job seekers is 5 million VND or more, primarily concentrated in the 5-10 million VND range (49,48%). The 10-15 million VND range accounts for 17,07%; and salaries above 15 million VND account for 9,36%.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, former Deputy Director of the Center for Forecasting Human Resource Needs and Labor Market Information in Ho Chi Minh City, those earning over 15 million VND\/month possess many qualities: competence, skills, work attitude, technological understanding, and foreign language proficiency are all at a good level.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c"Currently, many companies and businesses are complaining that they cannot find workers for high-paying positions because our workforce lacks the necessary skills and abilities to match those job requirements," Mr. Tuan said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report on job search demand focuses on several sectors: Business and Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Office Administration, Transportation, Information Technology, Architecture and Construction, and Mechanical Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, according to the results of a survey of 43,551 businesses on human resource needs in 2019, their recruitment needs were concentrated in the following sectors: Business - Commerce (23,311 TP3T), Mechanical Engineering - Automation (6,621 TP3T), Service (5,541 TP3T), Property Business - Real Estate (5,471 TP3T), Information Technology (5,031 TP3T), Accounting - Finance (7,171 TP3T), Information Consulting Services - Customer Care (4,821 TP3T), Transportation and Textile - Garment - Footwear (4,141 TP3T).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c"In other words, these sectors have many job opportunities for workers. The competition for jobs in these sectors is lower than in other sectors," Mr. Tuan explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, businesses are placing greater emphasis on recruiting trained and technically skilled workers. Especially in the context of globalization and the upcoming Fourth Industrial Revolution, the quality of the workforce is receiving even more attention.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c"Businesses are increasingly looking to recruit trained workers. According to our analysis, in 2019, businesses focused on recruiting trained workers, accounting for 83,991 TP3T, an increase of 7,821 TP3T compared to 2018," Mr. Tuan Anh said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of these, the demand for personnel with a university degree or higher accounts for 21,721 TP3T, college degree accounts for 19,031 TP3T, vocational school degree accounts for 28,441 TP3T, and basic vocational training accounts for 14,801 TP3T.<\/span><\/p>\n

These companies' recruitment needs are concentrated in several sectors: Mechanical Engineering; Refrigeration and Industrial Electrical Engineering; Electronics and Information Technology; Accounting; and Administration. office<\/a><\/span>; Management and Administration; Finance and Banking; Architectural and Construction Engineering; Transportation; Food Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some areas still need unskilled labor, accounting for 16,011 TP3T of the labor market and concentrated in sectors such as: service industries, business, and unskilled labor in labor-intensive fields\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
