I've never studied because I saw others studying. Nor have I ever studied because someone told me I had to. All external influences, regardless of who they come from or why, will become a burden, causing you to give up after a short time. Self-learning is a very difficult approach, requiring immense willpower, and if the motivation doesn't come from within, believe me, you'll give up, sooner or later.

Therefore, I only choose to learn the knowledge and skills that I need immediately, those that serve my work, projects, and life right now. When you have a very clear goal, are pressured by time constraints, and are affected by the outcome, by the success or failure and survival that lies ahead, then self-learning is like burning bridges. There's no turning back. When you push yourself like this, people usually have an extremely high level of concentration, learn quickly, apply immediately, and therefore easily personalize the theory they've just learned to their own reality. Application is what learning is all about. The rest is just reading for fun, remembering temporarily, learning for the sake of it, learning to forget, a waste of time.

“"If you don't create the circumstances to push yourself, you will never learn on your own." – Nguyen Phi Van

Keyword 2: How – What kind of learning?

Author Nguyen Phi Van during a sharing session with young people about entrepreneurship and franchising.

I'm a lazy and fun-loving student who hates overly serious or rigid learning methods. My method of learning new things is to travel and attend short courses with many students from different countries. By creating such learning environments, I motivate myself because I get to have fun, meet new people, and listen to many interesting and new life stories, which provide material for my life and writing hobby. So, I'm integrating learning into my hobbies.
