Not only is Christmas 2014 a joyful holiday, it was also an opportunity for students of Broward University Vietnam, Viet My College (APC) and IVYPREP Academy learned many life lessons through the volunteer activities called "Christmas is Giving.".
The students brought joy to the nursing home for elderly artists in District 8, the SOS Children's Village in Go Vap, and street workers in Districts 3 and 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
The students' activities were accompanied by teachers from the school. The message of the Christmas is Giving series of activities was conveyed by Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh Chuong – Vice Principal of the school.“Christmas is Giving translates to 'Christmas is Giving Love,' but that's just the name of this project. For students of Broward University Vietnam and Viet My College (APC), we not only gave but also received many valuable lessons. Through volunteer activities, the students will develop significantly in communication skills, manners, and most importantly, social responsibility.”
