Since its inception on August 1st, 2019, the Principal's Scholarship program mailbox has received over 20 essays daily sharing passions and career aspirations.
After careful consideration and based on certain scoring criteria, the Principal and the Scholarship Review Board have selected the following winners: The first freshman to receive a scholarship from the Rector is Le Nguyen Nha Thy, majoring in Graphic Design. A little secret: Nha Thy showed early aptitude and passion for graphic design through her own hand-drawn artwork. However, what impressed APC and the Scholarship Review Board from the Principal the most was her serious commitment to her future career.
Please listen to Nhã Thy's sharing in the article below.
Greetings to the esteemed teachers and staff of Viet My College,
My name is Le Nguyen Nha Thy. I recently completed my high school program at Long Thoi High School. During the past school year, I had the opportunity to visit many colleges and universities, but my visit to Viet My College left me incredibly impressed by the campus, classrooms, and library. I found the principal very friendly and sincere, the teaching staff professional and dedicated, and the students incredibly dynamic and enthusiastic. The school's uniform and elevator regulations also made a very strong impression on me. I learned about the school through its website and the principal's Facebook page, observing the campus throughout the year. Each season brought a different atmosphere to the campus: spring was decorated with vibrant red, summer and autumn with a modern feel, and winter with a warm and sparkling ambiance. I also saw and felt the students' lives on the school's stories, which were truly heartwarming and joyful. That's why I chose Viet My College to be my companion, my second home.
The field I have chosen is graphic design. Graphic design Graphic design is about creating visual and video solutions to communication problems. It's a combination of creative ideas and aesthetic sense, using tools to convey messages in an engaging and memorable way. In other words, graphic design is a fusion of art and information.
Reasons why I want to pursue this field graphic design It's because I have a passion for painting and a talent for art. Gradually, I developed a more refined and profound sense of color and detail. I began to strive for perfection in my thinking and observation, and my mind became richer and more creative. Currently, I am a person who loves beauty, is passionate about art, has a strong personality, and enjoys creative freedom. I dislike being constrained by rigid frameworks. And graphic design has everything I need and allows me to unleash my creativity and fully pursue my passion.
I want to create vibrant, colorful, and artistic experiences for life. Graphic design makes the impossible possible. It's a means to express the beauty that is formed within the extraordinary human mind, brought to life in its entirety. Because beauty is meant to be appreciated, not kept hidden away.
Graphic design It adds vibrancy and appeal to the ordinary things around us, making everything more radiant, lively, refined, and special. As someone who loves beauty and enjoys the freedom of creativity, with a talent for painting that needs to be honed to become more profound and refined, graphic design is a wonderful choice for those who live for art, those who create art. It allows me to express myself, to create beauty, and to breathe life into my creations. My task is to develop the idea and let graphic design breathe life into it. That is why I chose graphic design to accompany my passion.
My future career goal is to become a skilled designer with my own unique style, creating many useful products for society, and gaining recognition for my talent. To meet the needs of life.
Le Nguyen Nha Thy
