Viet My College is recruiting an additional 550 students and offering 300 scholarships from businesses.

According to information from the admissions board of Viet My College, the school is continuing to recruit an additional 550 students for both the national regular college program and the international college program. Applications will be accepted from September 16th to 30th, 2018, with the following admission requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Along with the school's collaboration with businesses to improve the quality of training and refine the curriculum to align with the realities and development trends of society, Viet My College continues to offer two additional scholarships from businesses, expanding cooperation and creating job opportunities for students from their first year. Specifically:

1. Business College – Scholarships Available

Students applying for admission between August 20, 2018 and September 30, 2018 will receive an immediate tuition fee reduction of 30% for the first semester (for national regular college programs), and 50% for the BTEC HND international college program.

Specifically, these 300 scholarships are sponsored by businesses that cooperate with the school in training, such as Golden Gate Co., Ltd., Daystar International Investment and Cooperation Co., Ltd., PQC Company, etc., and are exclusively for students enrolling in the following majors: Business English Translation, Hotel Management, and Business Japanese Translation.

2. Viet My Scholarship – Helping you choose your career

From August 20th to September 30th, 2018, students applying to Viet My College using their high school transcripts will receive scholarships based on their combined scores in the three subjects at the end of 12th grade: Math – Physics – Chemistry / Math – Literature – English, as follows:

• From 15 to 17.9 points: receive the 10% scholarship covering tuition fees for the first semester.
• From 18 to 20.9 points: receive the 20% scholarship covering tuition fees for the first semester.
• From 21 points or higher: receive the 30% scholarship to cover tuition for the first semester.

An additional 550 places will be allocated to two programs: the regular college program and the BTEC international college program.

Accordingly, for the 2018-2019 academic year, the university will continue to recruit an additional 100 students across 5 majors in the BTEC HND international bachelor's program, including:

• BTEC HND in Hospitality Management– Hotel Management, comprising 2 specializations:
  • Restaurant and Food Service Management
  • Accommodation Management 
• BTEC HND in Business – Business administration, comprising 3 specializations:
  • Human resource management
  • Marketing
  • Accounting and finance.

For the national regular college program, this year the school is expanding enrollment to 15 majors that are in high demand in the job market, focusing on four main fields: Translation and Interpretation, Management and Services, Design, and Information Technology.

Among these, fields where the labor market shows signs of "demand exceeding supply," such as Japanese translation for business and commerce, hotel management, IT - software applications, web design - website development, and digital marketing, are receiving the highest number of applications.

At Viet My College, with its "Learning by Doing - Experiencing" training orientation, the practical training time for each subject reaches 701 TP3T of study time. In addition, the school also promotes the development of life skills and work skills training programs to equip students with the professional work ethic before they "conquer" employers. Aiming for training that is always in line with businesses, since 2016, Viet My College has invited representatives from businesses in each training field to participate in teaching, supervising, and training students during their learning process.
