Scholarships for New Students 2014

Viet My Vocational College (APC) announces a scholarship program for new students enrolling in 2014.

Scholarship selection exams for new students are held in April, August, and November.

The most recent scholarship exam dates were April 6th, 2014 and April 13th, 2014.

Exam format:

• A paper-based EQ test.,
• A 1000-word essay in English on a given topic (depending on the scholarship type).
• In-person interview (depending on the type of scholarship)

Types of scholarships:

George Washington:

1. Scholarship value: 100% tuition fee for one academic year (equivalent to over 25 million VND)
2. Quantity: 10
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received an A grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Excellent or higher.
• Essay in English
• In-person interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Work at the school 5 hours/week after receiving the scholarship.
• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 8.5.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.
• No subject can have a grade below 7.0; if any do, the scholarship will be lowered by one level.

Abraham Lincoln: 

1. Scholarship value: 80% tuition fee for one academic year.
2. Quantity: 10
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received an A grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Excellent or higher.
• Essay in English
• In-person interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Work at the school 5 hours/week after receiving the scholarship.
• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 8.0.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.
• No subject can have a grade below 6.0; if any do, the scholarship will be lowered by one level.

Franklin Roosevelt: 

1. Scholarship value: 60% tuition fee for one academic year.
2. Quantity: 20
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received a B grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Excellent or higher.
• In-person interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Work at the school 5 hours/week after receiving the scholarship.
• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 7.5.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.

Thomas Jefferson: 

1. Scholarship value: 50% tuition fee for one academic year.
2. Quantity: 50
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received a B grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Good or higher.
• In-person interview with the scholarship selection committee (if necessary)

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Work at the school 5 hours/week after receiving the scholarship.
• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 7.0.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.

Theodore Roosevelt: 

1. Scholarship value: 30% tuition fee for one academic year.
2. Quantity: 100
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received a C grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Good or higher.

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 6.5.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.

Woodrow Wilson: 

1. Scholarship value: 20% tuition fee for one academic year.
2. Quantity: Unlimited
3. Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Submit your scholarship application complete and on time.
• Received a C grade on the EQ test.
• High school graduation results: Average or above.

Conditions for maintaining the scholarship in the following year:

• Maintain a minimum annual GPA of 6.0.
• Complete all subjects as per the curriculum.
