Lion Scholarship Program – Supporting during the pandemic in 2021

Welcoming the vibrant month of August and the back-to-school season, and in the spirit of companionship and sharing during the pandemic, Viet My College (APC) announces its scholarship program.

LION SCHOLARSHIP – SUPPORTING YOU DURING THE 2021 PANDEMIC

• Time: from August 11 – 28, 2021
• Content: Includes 3 main programs

I. Special Program: Supporting During the Pandemic

• Target audience: This program is for new students residing in other provinces/cities who need to rent accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho while studying at Viet My College.
• Content:
  • APC is awarding 200 housing allowances to students from other provinces who register for admission at the Can Tho or Ho Chi Minh City campuses.
  • The support amount is VND 1,500,000 per academic year (including 3 semesters), with VND 500,000 per semester. The school will disburse the payment at the beginning of each semester.
  • Supporting documents:
    • Permanent residence address is different from the city where the educational institution is located (e.g., Can Tho, but students studying in Ho Chi Minh City are still eligible for support).
    • Students have a rental agreement near the campus where they are enrolled.
    • This applies from the semester in which the student begins renting the accommodation.

II. Scholarship Program – For College Students 9+

• Target audience: For new students enrolling in the 9+ College program at Viet My College.
• Content:
  • APC is awarding 100 scholarships exclusively for college students aged 9+, including:
    • Scholarship 15% Tuition Fee for Semester I
    • Viet My College Backpack

III. Scholarship Program

Includes 2 programs:

Program 1: Career Scholarships

• Target audience: For candidates with a grade point average of 5.0 or higher in 12th grade.
• Content:

Program 2: Lion Scholarship

• Target audience: For candidates with a grade point average of 7.5 or higher in 12th grade.
• Content: Candidates will go through 2 rounds of competition.
  • Round 1: Audition
    • Content: Candidates will take a multiple-choice test consisting of 50 questions at:

      • Based on the results of Round 1, contestants will proceed to Round 2 as follows:
        • When a candidate scores 50/100 points or higher, they are eligible to participate in Round 2.
        • When a candidate scores below 50/100 points, they will receive the value of the Career Scholarship program.
  • Round 2: Interview
    • Content: Candidates will participate in an interview with the Scholarship Committee.
    • Value: 14 full scholarships – worth 100% of tuition fees for the first semester.
