Opening the program, Ms. Phi Yen emphasized to the students the importance of personal networking and building a personal image through real-life stories and situations she had experienced. With a humorous and engaging storytelling style, Ms. Phi Yen shared with the students the secrets to becoming an interesting speaker through subtle conversational techniques. Notably, Ms. Phi Yen advised the students to prepare business cards while still students, because a business card opens up many opportunities in the most "accidental" and "random" ways. It is the key to unlocking the power of "personal networking"—something that largely determines our success in modern society.

A highlight of Ms. Phi Yen's presentation was the "Business Card Exchange" game – a practice session for the students applying the skills and experiences they had just learned. The students thoroughly enjoyed testing their "diplomatic" abilities with people they had just met for the first time.
