SonKim Retail Group recruits students at the opening ceremony of Viet My College.

At the ceremony, SonKim Retail Group participated in sharing information, connecting with students, and providing career guidance for recruitment right from the start of their studies at Viet My College.

Since the 2019 academic year, Viet My College has made many innovations in its admissions process by opening multiple enrollment periods throughout the year. Accordingly, high school graduates interested in one of the programs offered at the college can register for admission. With a credit-based training system, the college advises and arranges suitable study schedules for students depending on their major and their current level and abilities. This has created many advantages for students, and in the first five months of the year, Viet My College welcomed over 200 new students across three programs: the British BTEC International College, the National Regular College, and the 9+ College.

The opening ceremony was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, marking the school's traditional career orientation day for new students. Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Mai Trang, Vice Principal of Viet My College, stated, “This will be a day that marks a difference because you have chosen Viet My College instead of other colleges and universities. Viet My is following the principle of in-depth vocational training, so that graduates will be confident in finding employment with a salary commensurate with their abilities and attitudes. The school has and will strive to provide all career opportunities not only within the school's training program, but also through the participation of businesses in the teaching process. You will learn from real-world experiences with senior professionals in businesses, gaining knowledge not found in textbooks but through their personal experiences.”

In particular, according to statistics from the Admissions Counseling and Training Department, out of the total number of students admitted in 2020, 601 students transferred from other universities and colleges. The vast majority of these students stated that their previous career orientations were unsuitable, and the practical-oriented training philosophy and job placement opportunities at Viet My College were a major factor in their decision to enroll.

With a teaching philosophy focused on practical learning and business connections, Viet My College students will participate in internships and practical training from the first semester, integrating hands-on experience into each subject, ensuring up to 70% of their study time is dedicated to practical training. Furthermore, Viet My College is a trusted partner of many companies and economic corporations, acting as a bridge to secure employment opportunities for its students. Business connections are always prioritized in teaching and in supporting students after graduation. The employment rate of graduates, the satisfaction of recruiting companies, and the career advancement opportunities for students are fundamental measures of the quality of education at Viet My College. In 2019, Viet My College was one of the prestigious colleges that received commendation from the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for its vocational training programs aligned with business needs, contributing to improving the quality of Vietnam's human resources during the 2017-2019 period.

Continuing in that spirit, at the first opening ceremony of 2020, Viet My College welcomed a delegation from SonKim Retail Group to share information and connect with them regarding the recruitment needs of over 200 personnel to work in the brands owned by SonKim Retail.
