“"Viet My Tailor Shop" is an art project planned and executed by students from the design department of Viet My College. Aimed at designing a showroom for design products, these "young artists" not only created a unique artistic space but also showcased their own distinct style.

Inspired by the familiar, rustic images of the people of Southern Vietnam in the previous century, the young designers of APC have created an artistic space that is distinctly classic, familiar, and simple. Stepping into "Viet My Tailor Shop," one will suddenly forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life, find a moment of tranquility beside the traditional sewing table, by the wooden window frame, and return to childhood with the flying oil palms, also known as "oil palm flower pinwheels,"...

In particular, all products at "Viet My Sewing Shop" are handcrafted by the students themselves. Every detail is meticulously cared for, the result of the hard work and serious dedication of the creators.

Ho Nguyen Phuong Uyen, a graphic design student, shared:“For this project, we set the scene in an art-filled old house to create a familiar, rustic space rooted in ancient Vietnamese art for our Viet My school. Although the time was tight and the final product didn't quite meet our expectations, I'm still very happy that the project was completed on time after much effort and hard work from all the team members.“".

Nguyen Huu Minh, a student majoring in interior design, shared:“Although I'm only a freshman, I find it incredibly exciting to be a part of this project. For me, this is an opportunity to showcase my abilities and to help the design department of the university develop further.“".

Nguyen Le Thanh Thuy, a student majoring in interior design, said: “"I felt very satisfied when the project was completed, but personally, I'm still not entirely happy because I want the product to be even more perfect and I'm not sure if it will make a lasting impression on viewers."“".

This project involved members from all three classes: fashion design, graphic design, and interior design, from the 2017 and 2018 cohorts. This collaboration resulted in incredibly creative and unique works of art. In the future, we promise to see even more impressive collaborative works from the design students of Viet My College.
