TRƯỜNG CAO ĐẲNG VIỆT MỸ KÝ KẾT THỎA THUẬN HỢP TÁC MOU VỚI TẬP ĐOÀN SUN GROUP - Trường Cao đẳng Việt Mỹ Hồ Chí Minh Xét Tuyển Cao Đẳng Chính Quy năm học 2024

...Here's some great news for everyone, especially hotel management students!!!!

On the morning of July 20th, Viet My College officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sun Group – one of Vietnam's leading corporations, which has made significant contributions to the transformation of Phu Quoc and Tay Ninh, beautifying and enriching these destinations with world-class projects and services.

Besides major names in the Tourism and Hospitality industry that have already signed agreements with Viet My College such as PQC Hospitality, Star Travel International Joint Stock Company, Azerai Resort, etc., this agreement with Sun Group, with over 13 years of experience, has contributed to expanding the school's network of business partnerships. Accordingly, Sun Group and Viet My College will strengthen vocational education ties and cooperate closely in four main areas, including: Internship opportunities; recruitment; trainee training; bilateral brand communication; and other collaborative activities.

Regarding internship opportunities

With the human resource management philosophy "“Good seeds only germinate and grow when given the right environment.”"Each year, depending on actual needs, Sun Group will prioritize accepting students from the university's Hotel Management program for internships at the Group and at Sun Group's operating businesses. This is an ideal opportunity for dynamic and enthusiastic young people to be exposed to a professional environment early on, hone practical professional skills, and support the Group in building a skilled and professional workforce in the face of the strong resurgence of the tourism industry.".

Regarding job opportunities

With recruitment information from the Group being posted by the university in collaboration with the school on its official website, student bulletin board, student forum, etc., the Group also plans to prioritize the recruitment of the university's students. In particular, students with excellent academic performance, and those with internship results rated good or higher, have ample opportunity to become members of the Sun Group family.

Furthermore, students of the Management Faculty in general, and the Hotel Management major in particular, will also have access to the latest recruitment information with attractive salaries and benefits from Sun Group through the annual Job Fair series organized by the university. This series of events is a unique opportunity for students to impress recruiters. Do your best, VietMy-ers!

Enhance soft skills training and professional knowledge. Through internships and practical training at the Corporation, Vietnamese-American students gain additional knowledge and professional skills necessary to establish themselves and thrive in their future work environment.

Not only students, but every year, the Group will also create opportunities for excellent lecturers from Viet My College to intern, receive training, and enhance their practical experience in suitable positions within the Group. This will serve as a basis for lecturers to adjust and update the teaching program for students to better align with the labor market's needs.

At Viet My College, the "Business Semester" is one of the most important semesters because during this semester, students are required and given maximum opportunities to participate in visits, internships, and practical training at businesses. Continuous exchange, consideration, and cooperation with many reputable organizations in the industry not only helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, between the classroom and the business world for students, but also affirms the efforts of Viet My College and its faculty in developing students' professional skills, helping them secure stable employment after graduation, increase their income, and transform them into skilled workers suitable for both domestic and international labor markets.
