Over 1,000 parents and students visited the Viet My College booth during the counseling and admissions fair in Can Tho.

The 2018 Career Guidance, Admissions and Counseling Fair, held in Can Tho on January 17-18, 2018, attracted a large number of parents and students from the Southwestern region of Vietnam. Alongside them were leading experts and 134 booths from 79 universities, colleges, and vocational schools.

From 7 am onwards, the booth of Viet My College was bustling with activities such as career counseling, artistic henna painting experiences, and selfies with the lion mascot, attracting hundreds of students.

Over 1000 parents and students flocked to the APC booth in just one morning.
Even though the program has only just begun, the APC volunteers are already working at full capacity at the booth.

In particular, the school's career counseling and guidance program, which answers questions about professions, job opportunities, training quotas, etc., is of great interest to students and parents.

Those who participated in the consultation included:

  • Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Head of the Management Department
  • Ms. Thanh Hien – Head of the BTEC International College Program
  • Ms. Phan Thi Mai Trang - Head of the Foreign Language Department

Overall, this year's trend shows that students are increasingly interested in fields such as English translation, public relations, design, and hotel and restaurant management. Furthermore, they are actively researching career options and orienting themselves according to their passions and aspirations.

Some students, even without seats, patiently stood to listen to Mr. Khanh's advice.

Teacher Khanh's comment stated:‘Most students this year have identified their career direction and passions. Over 80% students are interested in job opportunities after graduation, training duration, and international partner organizations.’

The school's booth not only attracted students but also parents who enthusiastically participated in the counseling program led by the teachers.

Ms. Le Ngoc Khanh (Can Tho) happily said:‘My niece loves learning English, and even though she's only in 11th grade, she's already starting to think about her future career. Today, after listening to the teacher's advice on the BTEC program and the English language major, my niece and I have taken the first steps in exploring career opportunities and specialized training programs in her area of passion. Thank you to the teachers for their enthusiastic sharing..’

The henna art area, run by students from Viet My College, is also operating at full capacity as the number of students flocking there increases every day.

The students enjoyed the henna painting activity at the APC booth.

In addition, outside the booth, the interaction with the APC lion mascot was equally lively.

Many students entrust their 'dreams' through the scholarship application form, hoping that when they become freshmen at the university, they will be the recipients of this valuable scholarship program.

The admissions, counseling, and career guidance fair in Can Tho concluded with many interesting and meaningful moments, not only for the counseling team of Viet My College but also for the students who had fun participating in activities at the APC booth.
