This was the statement made by a representative from An Khang Pharmacy to Vietnamese-American students in the workshop.“Career guidance and opportunities in Pharmacy at An Khang Pharmacy.“"The workshop is a meaningful activity of the business cooperation signing ceremony between Viet My College and An Khang Pharma Joint Stock Company.".
With the signing of the MOU on the morning of August 18th, students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy will now have more opportunities to enhance their skills through internship programs at An Khang's chain of pharmacies.
Simultaneously, An Khang will also provide career development guidance for Vietnamese-American students by:
- Create a specific profile of the future pharmacist.
- Build a career progression path from "pharmacist intern" to "regional manager" in just one year.
- This provides students with the opportunity to directly observe and operate software used in the drug sales process, such as ERP and POS systems, and to familiarize themselves with the GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) pharmacy model.
More importantly, An Khang Pharma will support the arrangement of reasonable work shifts for students pursuing further education, creating maximum convenience so that they have enough time to hone their knowledge and improve their professional skills. Sharing further insights on what students need to consider if they want to succeed in pursuing a career as a pharmacist, the representative of An Khang Pharmacy also affirmed this."Upon graduation, you will be 'diamonds' sought after by many employers. But whether a diamond shines or not depends on the polishing process in school beforehand, which is demonstrated through focused study, knowledge of pharmacology, drug groups, etc. Besides that, you must truly dedicate yourself to your work. This means you must value your own health and the health of others, and truly love your profession to be able to work at An Khang."“
The signing of the MOU with An Khang Pharma – a market leader in pharmaceuticals with approximately 1,000 stores – is considered a significant milestone and a major step forward for Viet My College in its collaborative training activities in the medical field. Simultaneously, the college is gradually expanding its job opportunities, providing students with numerous internship and practical training chances at leading companies within its network, such as FPT Long Chau and Xuyen A General Hospital. This will help students easily find good, high-paying jobs immediately after graduation, ensuring a better quality of life for them in the future.
