The President of Broadway University (USA) joins the leadership of the International Association for American Education (IAE) in Vietnam.

9/10/2018

Mr. J. David Armstrong, Jr., who recently completed his term as President of Broward College (Florida, USA), will become Vice President for International Strategy of the International American Education Organization (IAE) and will also assume the position of President of Broward College in Vietnam, effective October 15, 2018.

For 11 years, Mr. Armstrong served as the top leader and president of the Broward College system, one of the best community colleges in the United States. Under his leadership, Broward College not only ensured excellent educational quality for students in the US but also pursued international educational partnerships to serve students globally, including the establishment of Broward International Centers in 10 countries worldwide, including Vietnam.

“Upon completing my term at Broward University in the United States, I decided to work at Broward University Vietnam. I wanted to find opportunities to help more young Vietnamese people access advanced education in the United States.” "Mr. Armstrong said.".

Applying the advanced 2+2 model, Broward College Vietnam is one of the most reputable and effective international schools in Vietnam, offering programs for students who wish to pursue an international learning environment and dream of studying abroad. The school provides Vietnamese students with the opportunity to experience American education right in their homeland for the first two years of university, then transfer to Broward University (USA) or other universities in the US for the next two years to complete their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Tourism, Hospitality, and many other fields.

Mr. Armstrong hopes that in his new role on the Board of Directors of the American Education Organization, he can bring more learning opportunities and scholarships to Vietnamese students to study in the United States, as the US is considered one of the top three countries with the largest number of Vietnamese international students.

Last September, the American Education Organization successfully collaborated with the University of Missouri to launch a program to prepare students for the American High School Diploma, a program that allows Vietnamese students to study locally while receiving an American High School Diploma accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges (NCAC). Broward College will also accept 100% Vietnamese students from the American High School Diploma program at the American Education Organization for direct admission to Broward College (Vietnam).

The American Education Organization is currently one of the largest and fastest-growing educational organizations, with 8 member institutions and over 60,000 students enrolled at various levels, including general education, after-school education, and higher education. With its strengths in international education and strong links to leading educational institutions in the US, the American Education Organization is at the forefront of providing Vietnamese students with opportunities to study advanced programs through study abroad in the US or study locally. The American Education Organization also attracts outstanding educators and world-class leaders to manage and develop the organization.

Mr. J. David Armstrong, Jr. will become Vice President for International Strategy at the International American Education Organization (IAE) and will also serve as President of Broward University in Vietnam.
