What makes studying Pharmacy and Nursing at Viet My College different?

– Students will receive practical training in school laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics. This will allow them to gain a firsthand understanding of the profession, its demands, and to cultivate a broader range of knowledge beyond mere academic understanding.

– More importantly, you will start your internship in your first year. This is the biggest difference. Because it is during your internship, listening to professional sharing from doctors and nurses, that you will be inspired, gain experience, and broaden your perspective through the experience of those in the profession. From there, you will cultivate a love for the profession you have chosen. Or, more broadly, medical ethics will be formed from this.

– During their internship at Hoan My International Hospital in Da Lat, part of the Hoan My Medical Group, the group of medical and pharmaceutical students from Viet My received training and guidance from Dr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh – CEO of the hospital and Ms. Truong Thi Mai Quyen – Chief Nurse (CNO). The students toured various areas/departments of the hospital to learn about the functions of the clinical areas.

In addition, students from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy also had a field trip and experience with lecturers and the school administration. Although it was only 4 days, the admin believes that the students gained deeper insights, a better understanding of the profession, a greater appreciation for their chosen field, and a clearer understanding of where they will be and what they will do within the broader career landscape.
