After two days of exams, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training held a press conference this afternoon, July 17th. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Chief of the Department's Office, reported that on July 16th, 81,751 candidates took the Literature and Mathematics exams, with 554 absent, representing a participation rate of 99,331; on July 17th, 81,269 candidates took the Mathematics exam, with 594 absent, representing a participation rate of 99,281.

In the specialized subject, 6,703 candidates registered to take the exam, of which 6,415 took the exam, with 288 absent, accounting for 95.71% of the total.

“The students have completed all subjects. The exam was safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations. Candidates and invigilators followed the exam regulations. After the exam, the work of grading papers and announcing results will be carried out urgently. Tomorrow, the department will hold training on the process of assigning codes to answer sheets and grading,” Mr. Trung said.

According to the invigilator, because most of the candidates were math majors, with only two taking the literature major exam, this examination room was "a little special.".
