I. Overview of the Web Design Industry

The Web Design - Website Development and Digital Marketing program aims to train college graduates specializing in website development and digital marketing. Graduates of the Web Design - Website Development and Digital Marketing program will possess in-depth knowledge of web development, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital marketing; skills in interface design and website development using the most modern technologies available; experience in website development on powerful content management systems as well as web-based application development; strong English skills for communication, presenting ideas, and reading technical documents; practical experience in software projects enabling them to immediately participate in corporate projects; and the entrepreneurial ability and aptitude to start their own businesses in the web development and e-commerce fields.

1. Training objectives

1.1. General Objectives

• Students are equipped with knowledge of multimedia computer graphics, website design, construction, and programming.;
• Proficient in using currently popular computer graphics programs for website design and programming.;
• Graduates receive an associate degree, making them eligible to continue their studies at the university level.

1.2. Specific Objectives

- Knowledge:

• Analyze the operating principles of Web technology;
• Evaluate the interface to determine if it meets the business needs;
• Evaluate feasible technologies within the existing environment (hardware, software) for deploying web applications on servers and clients;
• Select the necessary application environments for the web server;
• Analyze customer requirements for the web application;
• Explain the web application development process;
• Develop a plan for implementing the web project.;
• Assess the factors that ensure the safety and stability of a web server;
• Analyze information systems and databases;
• Develop a plan for backing up and restoring data and web servers;
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as prescribed.

- Skill:

• Able to use basic information technology as required;
• Setting up a suitable environment for the web server;
• Identify the necessary tools for building a web application;
• Able to use open-source systems to develop web applications;
• Able to handle problems that occur during the operation of the Web system;
• Choosing the right data backup and recovery method ensures system availability;
• Selecting mechanisms to ensure data security;
• Reading and understanding specialized English documents;
• Communication takes place through writing, presentations, discussions, and negotiations.;
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners;
• Basic foreign language proficiency, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; ability to apply foreign language skills to professional work in the industry/profession, and the ability to read and understand some specialized English in information technology.

• Demonstrate knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought; the Constitution and Laws of the State and Labor Law;
• To understand the rights and obligations of citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
• Fulfill all responsibilities and obligations of a citizen, living and working in accordance with the Constitution and the Law;
• Always abide by the rules and regulations of the workplace.
