Viet My College will award scholarships totaling up to 2 billion VND for students in the 2018-2019 academic year for two new majors in the healthcare field: Pharmacy and Nursing.
Starting from the 2018-2019 academic year, Viet My College officially began enrolling students in two new majors in the healthcare field: Pharmacy and Nursing.
The school began accepting applications for these two majors in March 2019. The training period for these two majors is 7 semesters, with an international standard of education and a focus on cultivating medical ethics in students.
Accordingly, students will receive scholarships and tuition fee reductions totaling up to 2 billion VND.

Studying here, students will receive focused training and development in communication skills and proficiency in foreign languages, in addition to professional knowledge.
According to Master Duong Tran Minh Doan, Principal of Viet My College, the school will focus on cultivating professional medical ethics so that students majoring in this field can care for patients with compassion.
“"In the near future, we will sign training agreements and work with international standard hospitals, polyclinics, and pharmaceutical companies to bring doctors and medical professionals to directly teach and also open up recruitment commitments, expanding career opportunities for students," Mr. Doan said.
For the Pharmacy major, the training program will include three levels of knowledge: general knowledge, foundational knowledge, and specialized knowledge, arranged to be taught throughout seven semesters.
In the general knowledge section, students will be equipped with basic science subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, etc.
In terms of foundational knowledge, the school will teach subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, and parasitology.
Upon specializing, students will learn about pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal plants, pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical formulation and technology, quality control and assurance, and pharmaceutical distribution (pharmaceutical legislation, pharmaceutical economics, marketing, inventory management, pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, etc.).
After graduation, students will become pharmacists., Nursing Graduates with college degrees are confident in working in various environments such as hospitals, polyclinics, medical facilities, elderly care facilities, domestic and international pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, etc.
In addition, students can expand their career opportunities in developed countries that are experiencing shortages of healthcare professionals, such as Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and others.
