Your destination is McDonald's Dakao – a restaurant built to McDonald's US standards in Vietnam. The focus of today's internship is the sharing of experiences from restaurant managers on professional customer service. You have learned the following key concepts: “"When customers express their dissatisfaction, it means they want to return; when customers remain silent, it means they won't. Therefore, an important part of customer service is ensuring customer satisfaction and finding appropriate approaches to receive feedback and improve every day."” Many other valuable insights were shared, and only by being present at the internship with our fellow students could we fully appreciate the importance of the Customer Service subject and the values that have built McDonald's renowned brand.
In addition to gaining a better understanding of real-world customer service situations, the students also had the opportunity to tour McDonald's standard food preparation process and sample delicious hamburgers. The internship itself was a valuable customer service experience, as the students were treated like VIPs by McDonald's professional service.
