Stemming from a shared desire to establish training links between educational institutions and businesses, along with excellent job opportunities for Broward College Vietnam students, the American Education Organization (IAE) and Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company (Saigon Hotel) have discussed and agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding outlining the basic contents for formal cooperation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Do Dang Huy – Director of Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company; Ms. Cao Thi Thuy Van – Strategic Manager of Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh Chuong – Vice Principal of Viet My College; and Ms. Pham Thanh Nga – Head of the Employment Support and University Transfer Department of Viet My College.
The cooperation program between Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company and Broward College will help Broward College students become potential employees for the tourism and hospitality industry in general and Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company in particular. Specifically, during their internship, students will have the opportunity to rotate through various departments, working directly with the senior management team of Saigon Hotel to gain practical experience. In addition, graduates from the IAE system receive many preferential treatments in the list of candidates for full-time positions.
This presents both a great opportunity and many challenges for students in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, as they get to learn and practice in real-world situations. Therefore, students need to learn and gain more experience to find more job opportunities in the future.
