Currently, job opportunities for graphic design students are vast and promising. However, it's difficult for graphic design students in general to fully understand where the hidden dangers lie and where the calm waters are. The global economic cycle changes based on societal issues and depends on public demand, making it inevitable that students will feel disoriented when searching for jobs immediately after graduation.

In particular, with the environmental situation at an alarming level, resources used by humanity becoming depleted, and public demand pushed to the brink of accepting change to solve problems related to fuel and clothing, the work of design has become more important than ever. A designer's work must address societal issues. Perhaps this is the time for Viet My College to sound a wake-up call, reminding its Design students that creativity is about building, sustainability, longevity, and inheritance. That is the value you create, and also the opportunity you seize.
On June 9th, 2023, the "Green Innovation Job Fair 2023," organized by the Design Faculty of Viet My College and sponsored by the Danish Embassy, was successfully held. The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh Chuong, M.Sc. – Vice Principal of the college, and Mr. Jesper Holm – Education and Statistics Counselor, Danish Embassy in Vietnam, along with representatives from various businesses and all students studying Graphic Design at the college.

With the aim of showcasing the capabilities and open-mindedness of students from the Design Department of Viet My College to local businesses, the event serves as a networking space for students to find internship opportunities and ideas for their upcoming graduation projects, focusing on practical approaches that align with the needs of local businesses.

The event also highlighted our effective collaboration with colleges such as APC, emphasizing the contributions of the VDV Project in training, curriculum development, teaching methods, teacher training, and the successful implementation of the LOSC model in Vietnamese colleges over the past years.

Furthermore, the sustainable development of the local vocational skills council at Viet My College includes increasing participation from local businesses and finding more job opportunities for our talented graphic design students.
The program consists of three main activities:
Project Exhibition: A print exhibition showcasing 20 outstanding and innovative green projects by students during the academic year.

Green Talks for Creatives: Job fair and local business showcase, Workshop on Achieving Success with Green Creativity.

Portfolio Gallery: Showcasing nearly 40 e-portfolios from students to connect and facilitate recruitment of interns, trainees, and graphic design staff for businesses seeking to hire them.
