On May 19, 2023, EQuest Education Group announced the successful raising of US$120 million, including both debt and equity from existing investor KKR (sourced from the Global Impact Fund). This investment will be used to invest in and upgrade the Canadian International School System (CISS) in Ho Chi Minh City and expand the College and University system, particularly the Broward Vietnam campuses in Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The investment from KKR contributes to EQuest's goal of making CIS the most prestigious and largest international high school system in Ho Chi Minh City.
With 12 years of history, the Canadian International School (CIS) is the largest international high school system in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides diverse programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), American Advanced Placement (AP), and the Canadian curriculum, CIS is also renowned for its top-tier sports programs. This new funding will be used to upgrade facilities, recruit top sports coaches, and attract outstanding teachers to the CIS system.

Broward College, a member of the Florida Public University System, has consistently been ranked among the top 10 community colleges in the United States by the prestigious Aspen Institute. EQuest's Broward Vietnam has been offering fully accredited American college programs for over 10 years.

Broward Vietnam's training program helps students complete a full US bachelor's degree with reasonable tuition fees and without incurring additional overseas expenses.
The new investment will also be used to build campuses for Broward Vietnam's four-year American bachelor's degree program in Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Students enrolled in this program can complete a full US bachelor's degree in Vietnam for a reasonable tuition fee of $7,000 per year, without incurring additional overseas expenses. On this occasion, EQuest Education Group also announced the appointment of Ms. Dam Bich Thuy, Founding Chairwoman of Fulbright University Vietnam, as an independent member of the Board of Directors, effective May 15, 2023.
Ms. Dam Bich Thuy has held numerous senior management positions in the fields of finance, banking, and education.

Ms. Dam Bich Thuy has officially become a member of the Board of Directors of EQuest Education Group.
Prior to becoming President of Fulbright University Vietnam, Ms. Thuy served as the first Vietnamese CEO of ANZ Bank in Vietnam, the representative of the National Australian Bank (NAB) in Vietnam, and the CEO of Vietnam International Bank (VIB). She holds a Bachelor's degree from Hanoi University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA, under a Fulbright scholarship.
In addition to her role as an independent member of the Board of Directors, Ms. Thuy will bring to EQuest many years of rich experience in building high-quality universities.
