Viet My College recently held a graduation ceremony for over 200 students from two programs: the National Regular College Program and the BTEC British College Program. The new graduates come from five majors: Business English Translation, Hotel Management, Small and Medium Enterprise Management, Public Relations, and Design.

The ceremony was held in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh City. Alongside the 200 new graduates were their parents, who came to share in the joy and offer congratulations, all beaming with happiness.

Graduation ceremonies, regardless of the educational level, are always incredibly important, marking a new milestone in the journey of acquiring knowledge and honing one's career. The graduation ceremony for the 2016 class at Viet My College, after 2 years and 8 months of training and study, holds another significant meaning: the trust and unique choice that students and their parents have made in the college to walk a different path from the majority in society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Tran Minh Doan, Principal of the school, expressed his sincere gratitude to the parents and students for placing their trust in and choosing Viet My College as their destination for building their future careers. He shared: “We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the parents. You have bravely supported your children in choosing a post-secondary educational path different from the majority of society. This has given us the opportunity to demonstrate that there are many paths to employment, career success, and happiness. We are proud to share with you that we have prepared well and provided everything your children need for the future: a solid professional foundation, job opportunities both domestically and internationally, and opportunities for further studies at universities in Vietnam and abroad.”.

Twelve corporations and companies directly recruited staff at the graduation ceremony.

At the 2016 graduation ceremony, more than 20 representatives from corporations and companies attended to congratulate and share the joy with the school and students. Notably, 12 corporations and companies came to the graduation ceremony to recruit employees. At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran, Head of Human Resources, Golden Gate Group Joint Stock Company, stated: “…I believe that job opportunities for students today are immense. Currently, with the rapidly developing F&B market, the demand for personnel in the F&B sector is very high. Every month, our Golden Gate Group needs to recruit approximately 550-900 employees. We are working with Viet My College to train its students to become management personnel within our group. I also hope that the individuals present at today's ceremony will be part of the core management team at our group. We highly value Viet My College students for their proactiveness, professional work attitude, and well-trained professional skills…”.

Statistics from the Department of Business Relations and Student Support Services at Viet My College show that out of over 200 graduates of the 2016 cohort, more than 851 students are currently working in businesses in their respective fields of study. Partner businesses highly appreciate the students' professional and serious work ethic, as well as the college's training program's close alignment with practical needs.
