“"A Day as a Korean-speaking Tour Guide" is an extracurricular activity within the "Outdoor Learning Activities" series of the Korean Language Translation course, focusing on Korean translation for tourism in the Korean Language major.
The aim is to help students gain experience in diverse Korean-language career paths early in their studies and meet the requirements of employers.

During the field trip, Korean language students not only explored the beautiful city of Saigon but also directly became professional tour guides, confidently introducing and answering questions about tourist attractions and services for Korean tourists, as well as directly resolving any issues that arose for tourists throughout the tour.

In addition to gaining work experience as a Korean-speaking tour guide, the students also personally designed unique bilingual travel brochures for tourists.

If you're worried about questions like, "Is learning Korean just about learning the language?" or "Will I be able to find a job after graduation if I only know Korean?", then at Viet My College, students are always given priority in language skills training, translation skills training, and essential professional and soft skills training. This is all done in a creative, dynamic learning environment with diverse course projects, extracurricular activities, and opportunities to experience different professions while still in school.
