On the morning of April 10th, a group of nursing students from the 21st cohort began their internship program at Military Hospital 175. This is a regular internship program after each semester aimed at reinforcing and practicing the theory learned in the second semester.
The hospital-school model is considered a crucial combination in healthcare training, providing nursing students with opportunities to practice the theoretical knowledge they have learned at school and gain practical experience from healthcare professionals at hospitals. This enhances their problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and soft skills.
With a capacity of 1000 beds, Military Hospital 175 is one of the largest and most prestigious public hospitals under the Ministry of National Defense. With significant investment in facilities and a highly qualified medical team, this will be an opportunity for nursing students from Viet My College to gain practical experience and improve their skills during their internship.
Ms. Cao Ngoc Thuy, Head Nurse of the hospital, held a kick-off meeting with students beginning their internship. Ms. Thuy shared: “The hospital will support and guide students during their internship, and we are even willing to hire them immediately after graduation if they meet our criteria.” This will motivate the students to strive to improve their knowledge, skills, and attitude throughout their studies and practical training at the hospital and the university.
