Talkshow: “Tour guide – Mine or yours?”

Talkshow: “Tour guide – Mine or yours?”

Tourism is like a "promised land" full of potential, attracting adventurous souls, especially language enthusiasts. Understanding this, on March 11th, Viet My College organized a talk show for students majoring in Business English Translation titled "Tour guide – Mine or yours?"“

We were honored to have a special guest speaker – Mr. Nguyen Viet Quoc, an inbound and outbound tour guide from Vietravel. What's particularly noteworthy is that he is a distinguished alumnus of the 2019 Business English Translation program at Viet My College. Therefore, his insights were not only from a business perspective but also from the perspective of a senior sharing his experiences with his juniors.

Questions such as "What advantages do students with a college degree in English have when working in the tourism industry?", "What positions would be suitable?", "What criteria do employers use to select candidates?",... were all answered thoroughly and in detail. We are confident that all participants in this event gained a wealth of knowledge for their future careers.

In the future, there will be many more exclusive "privileges" for Vietnamese-American students majoring in Foreign Languages, such as talk shows, learning exchanges with native speakers, company visits and internships, etc., which are extremely interesting. Therefore, Vietnamese-American College always welcomes young people who want to gain many experiences while still in school.

Don't miss the opportunity to study at Viet My College – where your dreams take flight.
