Business module: Self-management

“When doing business, think about the surrounding communities.”

This was shared by designer Chuong Dang at a talk show on the topic of "Self-Management" organized by the Faculty of Management recently.

Fashion designer Chuong Dang is also the founder of the Kujean fashion brand, the Ru restaurant chain, Pho Bar, and the Kujuz coffee shop project.

“"Self-management" is one of the most important and essential qualities for each of us. Fashion designer Chuong Dang shared with all the students his personal experiences throughout his journey to achieving the success he has today. He helped the students understand:”When you manage yourself well, you will then be capable of managing everything around you.”.

At the talk show, students majoring in Small and Medium Enterprise Management, Hotel Management, and Public Relations had the opportunity to hear about the necessary elements for optimal self-management and development. Beyond the topic of "Self-Management," the second part of the program, a Q&A session, allowed all students to interact and exchange ideas with designer Chuong Dang in a very friendly and open atmosphere. Many interesting questions were asked by students to the guest speaker about successes and failures in their entrepreneurial journeys and business expansion.

Sharing his biggest life lessons learned from working and doing business, fashion designer Chuong Dang said:“When doing business or undertaking a project, don't think only of yourself; think of the communities around you. They are the places where you can learn lessons and where people will silently help you grow.”

The talk show concluded with many lasting impressions on students who intend to start their own businesses and pursue their passion for entrepreneurship in today's modern and fiercely competitive society.
