- Students are constantly struggling with the question of how to spend money appropriately and how to save money effectively.
- How can you effectively control your spending when you can sit at home and have the entire world of "e-commerce" at your fingertips with just a click?.
- I've tried creating many spending plans for myself, but I still haven't been able to stick to them or complete them, abandoning them halfway through.
To help students supplement their knowledge, and in line with the 70% practical training method, on November 11, 2020, students of the Faculty of Management participated in a talk show on Personal Financial Management shared by Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat. He is the founder of the Make Cents Make Sense Piggy Bank fund and also a Financial Education Lecturer at NFEC (USA).
The talk show began with a quick Q&A session with students: What's the point of having a lot of money?

- With the speaker's offer of 1 billion VND, the students enthusiastically used the money immediately: some went shopping, sent it to Central Vietnam to help those in need, set up a fund to care for homeless dogs, used it for education, invited financial experts to invest a portion, and if successful, planned to pursue further studies to improve their financial management skills...
- According to observations by the Viet My reporter, the students were quite interested and enthusiastic about the topic of this talk show. They also eagerly asked questions during the Q&A session, adding to the excitement and creating a lively discussion with the guest speaker. Even better, they received special gifts from Mr. Minh Nhat. .
The talk show helped the students.
- Distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate spending levels.
- Cut back on unnecessary expenses.
- You should set up a contingency fund for yourself.
- Anticipate potential risks.
- It's especially important to develop additional skills, particularly in negotiating "personal" benefits, when applying for jobs.
